Community Involvement

During the month of March, Curves of Alexandria & Glenwood raises over 2,000 pounds of food and donations for local food shelves.  We will again be collecting donations starting March 1st, 2012.  Watch for details at the clubs.

  Plans are  underway for the June, 2012 Pope County Relay for Life.  Glenwood Curves has raised over $64,000 in the last 8 years for Pope county.  We are already looking for team members and have plans for the big Mother's Day Silent Auction.  Call 634-3086 for details on becoming a member of our team.

We also support Someplace Safe in Pope and Douglas counties.  We are a collection site for used cell phones. 

In October, we raise awareness and donations for Breast Cancer Awareness. 

We support needy families over the Holidays.  We collect donations for a few area families and donate through Armful of Love in Pope county and United Way family services in Douglas county.
